Advanced Eye Care

This ground-breaking piece of technology enables us to capture detailed 3D scans of the layers that make up the back of your eyes. These 3D images allow our optometrist to identify the slightest changes to the insides of your eyes with unprecedented precision and diagnose the first symptoms of vision-threatening conditions. The technology also means we can keep a close eye on your visual health history, as we can compare previous scans to track changes to your eyes as they mature.

As an Essilor Bespoke practice we are one of a select group in the UK that can utilize this incredible technology. The Visioffice X is a non-invasive, state-of-the-art measuring device that measures up to 11 different measurements for each eye in addition to your prescription, whereas a traditional spectacle lens would usually only consider 2.

We look at not only your eye's anatomy but we consider the way you wear your frame, your posture, and also how you use your eyes when you read. All of these considerations enable us to design a lens that works around you, rather than your eyes having to work harder around your lenses.

Bespoke lenses give you the clearest, sharpest vision which is instantaneous, without effort, and feels as natural as possible. This opens up your choice of frames, meaning you can choose something really stylish that suits your personality. Thanks to the way the device works with facial recognition and 3 HD cameras we can measure you without physical contact but we will be there to guide you through the process so we certainly won't be losing the human approach.

Every piece of ic! berlin eyewear is created with attention to detail. Every frame is crafted by hand. It is all part of their commitment to lasting quality and design.

Starting with high-quality, hand-selected materials. Cut. Bend. Polish. Refine. Step by step, the craftsmen use their hands and precision tools to create timeless, classic eyewear. Then they bring their work to life with their one-of-a-kind colors, textures, and finishes.

Hand-made precision takes true focus and skill. But ic! berlin believe it is the only way to craft a truly fine piece of eyewear.

The materials used for the frames are recyclable metals and cotton acetate, compostable acetate. The cases are made from cork and other recycled or recyclable materials such as cardboard boxes and natural inks, recycled or sustainably sourced papers.

Proud Eyewears' compostable acetate is capable of composting (90%) in just 115 days in a composter. It complies with the UNE EN 14855-2: 2019 Standard, which requires that the decomposition time be less than 180 days (by 90%).

Experience Italian-crafted frames created from recycled materials such as rescued fishing nets. British designed; they ensure that sustainability doesn't compromise on style.

There are approximately 640,000 tonnes of abandoned fishing nets in our oceans. The majority of eyewear brands use virgin plastic, further contributing to damaging the planet.

Coral Eyewear only uses environmentally friendly, recycled materials for their frames such as ECONYL, the material made from rescued waste found at sea and in landfills.
